Interesting. I found the Nameless One on the map while I was farming orcs for unrelated traits, and he was the only one I could find with that trait. I didn't realize he was unique until later. I found a way to duplicate him without the decoys ability, and made two of "Koth The Nameless One." When I noticed his Decoys ability and went to let him kill me, the original Nameless pulled a Savior and killed the Decoy. His dialogue suggested that I had betrayed him. I've seen the Pretender before, but I am sure it was either on the previous file, or I defeated him.

I don't think you can make a Nameless One from the Ranger-Killer. It's one of those "too unique" orcs (like the Bard for example), and probably the closest to the Stormbringer the Shield line's gonna get.
Have the same orc kill Talion twice, then kill that orc. After killing the orc, wait 30 minutes in the game and cheat death will work and the orc will return. However, if you kill another orc during that 30 minutes, or if you advance time and spawn a new orc, cheat death may fail. Also, if you have not completed the quest "Army of the Dead" in Carnan Quests, the orcs you have killed may be resurrected by this quest. It is recommended that you complete all Carnan Quests before killing orcs.
This kind of captain never spawns in my game no matter how many captains I killed to be replace, had all dlcs, conquered all forts, beat the main storylines, beat all the orc tribes side missions and he's still hasn't shown himself is there a way to spawn this orc ?
the Pretender will spawn at a low rate in each area when you advance time. Send all orcs in the area to the garrison and save the data to the USB. Select Advance Time to spawn orcs. If Pretender does not spawn, restore the data from the USB to the PS4. I have been able to find many Pretenders this way.
You can also find them by going to the outlaw tribal missions. I found mine by going to the one that says orcs are invading and if he’s not one of the 3 that spawn I just quit the mission and start it again

After the 6th time, it works randomly. So I save the game data to USB and restore it every time cheat death works. This way, I can use cheat deaths that work reliably as many times as I want.
You killing a maschine ranger killer pretender decoy reaaaally hurt to watch, he looked so fukin cool 😢😢. But im guessing it didnt work due to his unique personality
Perhaps the combination of machine body and Pretender body is hindering the cheat death. I made another titled orc from a machine Pretender decoy and that orc didn't come back either.

The Ranger Killer borne only from a Defender type orc. And since the only Defender-type orc with a decoy is a Pretender, the only Legendary Scar that can be given is either a machine body or a plague bringer's head. A Savage type orc can take over the look of the Legend Scar from a Trickster decoy, but that way we cannot make a Ranger Killer. But a manhunter with a machine body and a plague bringer head can be made. It is not a black machine body, but I have made one in the past and made a video of it.

And yeah, im aware with about the defender dilemma, that you cant make multiple generations of decoy appearances, they should really change that. Maybe a vid where you make a bunch of cool orcs with the mask from the manhunter, including a ranger killer? Id love to watch that, cause theyre by far my fav orcs, yet im suuuper unlucky with them ):

I save the game data to USB and restore it every time I make a new orc.
